DIT - Clean Ganga Projects: Developing a UK Response

February 1, 2018

UK Flood Partnership members may be interested in an upcoming event hosted by DIT, ‘Clean Ganga Projects: Developing a UK Response’

Date: Wednesday 21st February 2018

Time: 15:00 – 17:30

Venue: Hilton London Bankside, 2-8 Great Suffolk Street, London, SE1 0UG

The Indian government has signalled ambitious plans to address critical challenges in water supply and waste water management. This market is on track to be worth £13 billion by 2020. US$ 3 billion has been allocated for the Clean Ganga programme alone for the next 5 years.

Now is the right time to develop a UK response to specific, validated projects. DIT India will discuss the changing market, present selected projects within the Clean Ganga programme that present accessible opportunities for the UK, and facilitate a discussion on how DIT can best support UK companies to respond and win business.

The discussion will include profiles of customers, projects and requirements; the specific opportunities for different types of UK water companies; how DIT can help companies to address key market challenges; and how we mobilise the UK response to Clean Ganga.

The aim is that the debate will shape the overall DIT-supported UK response to Clean Ganga, as well as confirm companies interested in pursuing specific projects presented by DIT India.

If you are interested in registering a space for this event, please submit your details to eddie.malone@trade.gov.uk.
